With courses ranging from entrepreneurship and digital literacy to sustainable farming and creative arts, Skillbox empowers participants to dream bigger and achieve more. Session 1
Mindset Shifting
In our first workshop we journeyed with the youth inward. Together we discovered forgotten goals and visions of their future. They were each given a new journal and pen to write or draw things they were grateful for. We spent Time in visualization and watched a short film about manifestation.
Session 2
Planting for Food and Jobs
In this impactful workshop guest instructor Benson Idoro Jr. taught the youth the first in a series of workshops about farming as lucrative employment. Together they launched a coop and divided into roles that will support them in their new farming business.
Session 3
Bread Making
Next up is a bread making workshop with Amina! This course is designed to give enterprising youth an opportunity to learn the business of baking bread. Your gift will help us bring this course and many others to the youth of Brenu!
